Medical Director’s Mission
As our practice has grown exponentially in the last 3 years (2 employees > 15), we are in need of additional oversight and wisdom, both in medical and administrative capacities for our medical team. The Medical Director will serve as the clinical leader for our medical practice, ensuring that all patient care operations align with our mission, with Catholic ethical standards, and with the highest quality principles of medical care.
Key Outcomes:
Healthy and Energized Team:
The Medical Director seeks out feedback from the team, analyzes and recommends changes (e.g. additional benefits in office, additional headcount, changes to pay structures) to the Executive Director that they are responsible for implementing. They also observe trends in staffing and recommend changes to ensure sustainability for the team and avoidance of burnout.
Healthy and Happy Patient Population:
The Medical Director observes trends with patient population and shares back with providers so they can improve care. They contribute to improve patient experience through gathering and analyzing feedback from patients. They intervene when necessary on the administrative side to manage patient escalations on billing, etc.
Sustainably Growing Medical Practice:
The Medical Director executes on strategic growth goals and continually ensures they are sustainable and attainable. They recommend solutions when they see the practice’s goals, team health or practice principles at risk.
