Although this is posted as a chaplain specialist position, the job description is actually that of a chaplain who will: Provide religious and spiritual care and counsel for emotional and spiritual distress patients their families, and associates and others with diverse spiritual orientations and cultures. Provide pastoral care to the local site and community through performing sacraments, rituals, blessings and other services. Participate and collaborate with others in the department and ministry site to provide holistic compassionate personalized care. Build and maintain relationships with patients, families and associates through regular visitation and rounding in their assigned units.
