Staff Chaplain

Hiring range: $47,042.74-$58,803.41 annually-depending on experience

The Staff Chaplain assesses Spiritual Care and emotional needs of YRMC community, which includes patients, families, and staff. This individual develops a plan to address needs based on clinical assessment and provides spiritual and emotional care at time of crisis and/or death, as well as, completes all decedent care paperwork. The Chaplain provides crisis management for YRMC patients, families, and staff utilizing Critical Incident Stress Management model. The staff Chaplain provides for YRMC community patients, families, and staff rituals needs which includes but is not limited to: weddings, funerals, baptisms, blessing, prayer and if incumbent cannot provide for needs themselves, it is their responsibility to resource to local faith group leader.

Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree in Divinity + 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education * Board Certification with (APC, NACC, or NAJC) within three years of hire

Work Schedule: Days-8 hours daily
