The Director of Ethics provides leadership to clinical ethics services through consultation, education, and policy development. This position serves the hospital and clinic by working collaboratively with physicians, patients, families, co-workers, and health ministry leaders to facilitate ethical decision-making consistent with the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services and the integration of Mercy Values.  The Director of Ethics contributes to a robust ethics culture in which coworkers, physicians, leaders, and community partners consider the implications of their daily work to ensure alignment with Mercy values.
