BayCare, a leading Florida community-based health care system, has an outstanding career opportunity available for a Community Benefit Strategist in beautiful Clearwater, Florida. BayCare is comprised of 15 not-for-profit hospitals located throughout the Tampa Bay and Central Florida areas. 

The Community Benefit Strategist works closely with the Community Benefit Manager, Government and Community Relations teams, the Community Benefit Council, health system leadership, and key departments/committees (Grants Office, Communications Team, Finance Team, Sponsorship Committee, and related Community Benefit Committees) to provide content expertise, technical assistance, and oversight to BayCare's Community Benefit processes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordination with Community Benefit Reporters and Administrators across the health system
• Providing consultative guidance, training, education, and support related to Community Benefit tracking and reporting.
• Acts as the subject matter expert in developing standardized processes in capturing Community Benefit and Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) spend for reporting.
• Assumes primary responsibility for the unbilled community services category of Community Benefit reporting and the CHNA budget.
• Responsible for data and financial reports used by senior leadership in decision making.
• Provides support and oversight to strategic initiatives as it relates to the CHNA process and activities within the CHNA implementation plans.

Requirements:

• 5 years of Data Analysis experience.
• Prefer an additional 3 years Community Benefit experience in a health system.
